  • The Happiness We Choose (published in 2024!!) is my novel about finding happiness in the wake of tragedy. If you knew the truth would devastate those you loved, what would you sacrifice to keep it from them? That’s the question Nicolas faces when he decides to keep the secret of the circumstances surrounding his mother’s death. In doing so, he finds that the burden of his secret, and the grief he isn’t willing to face, are the price he must pay for his family’s peace.
  • My current work in progress, There’s No Good Way To Say This, tells the story of what happens when everyone in your life keeps telling things you don’t want to hear! Never has drinking away heartache failed so spectacularly as it has for Alex. Forced to celebrate the engagement of the love of his life to another man, there’s nothing more inviting than the hazy fog of whiskey. That is until that fog clears and Alex finds himself in bed with Maggie, whose only objectionable quality is being the sister of the woman Alex truly loves. With the one-night stand ending with predictable consequences, Alex is forced to reconcile with his past for a chance at the future he’s always wanted, but with the sister he never considered, and the secret of his unrequited feelings.
  • No one who writes does it all alone! My days at FanFiction.net allowed me to practice writing and hone my skills so I’d be ready to write my own novel. If you’re a closet Anne-girl (and if you are, you’ll know who you are!), check out my fanfic stories. I met some of the most fantastic people and a host of pretty talented writers!
  • And in a final bit of frivolity, I’m a sucker for a Hallmark movie, specifically Hallmark Christmas movies! I watch them all every year and I make no apologies for it! 2020 being the dumpster fire that it was, hubby and I decided to have a little frivolous fun and started Hallmark Hot Takes, where we did video reviews of each Countdown to Christmas movie. It’s fun, but surprisingly exhausting! And for anyone who wants to know how I got hubby to do this with me, I have three words, Marvel Cinematic Universe!
